
Wilson’s Falls
Long ago, Wilson's Falls became a permanent destination on any of my trips up North. I've hiked both sides, climbed over the rocks, watched the new dam get built and even picnicked beside the falls. The size of the of falls, the bend of the river, the ease of access and the great scenery all around make this waterfall one of my favourites. Keep reading.

Looking back at 2012
2012 was quite the year! With many changes happening in both my personal and work life, I feel like I'm entering 2013 in a completely different place and with a brand new perspective. The last year was definitely one to remember as there were many adventures (both good and bad), lessons learned, even more photographs taken and a lot of places that I'll be sure to revisit! Hatchery Falls
Located in Fish Hatchery Park just 30 minutes southwest of Huntsville, Hatchery Falls is a wild waterfall with easy access which makes it a perfect destination for a short visit and a quick hike. Keep reading.

Ferris Provincial Park
I first learned about Ferris Provincial Park on an awkward drive home from a camping trip at Presqu'ile Provincial Park. We were driving north on highway 30, passing over the 401 to join the westbound traffic when as we crossed over the crest of the bridge we could see someone waving their arms, trying to grab our attention. There were three cars backing up the on-ramp as the 401 was literally a parking lot due to a massive accident. So, as we drove past the ramp and were trying to figure out how to get home, we saw signs for Ferris Provincial Park. Though we didn't get to visit that day, I made sure to add it to my list!
