Road Trip 2014 Countdown
It's almost road trip time again and to say that I'm starting to get excited would be an understatement! In four weeks I'll be off on another adventure and it will be my largest one yet. The destination? The Maritimes! Over three weeks of visiting parks, hiking trails, and capturing as many moments as I can all over New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island. Keep reading.

It finally arrived! In an effort to ensure that I get myself to as many parks as possible this year, I picked up an Ontario Parks Summer Pass. Not only will it be great for random day trips and hiking, but I also hope it leads to some great photo opportunities and stories as it's now even easier for me to visit our provincial parks. Time flies when you’re having fun!
I cannot believe NaturalOntario.ca has been quiet for so long! That doesn't mean that things haven't been happening, in fact it's quite the opposite. I've been so busy lately and had so many commitments demanding my attention that I haven't been able to focus on sharing my thoughts and stories. But, as the seasons change, so do my responsibilities. It's time to get back out there and get back on here! Keep reading.
One Year Anniversary
One year ago today I was sitting at home on the couch with my foot up wondering if I had to have surgery on my broken ankle. I was trying to come to grips with the fact I was going to be in a hot, heavy plaster cast for the whole summer and possibly miss my chance to camp and hike in the fall. To top it off, work was absolutely horrible and the layoffs kept on coming. I wasn't sure I was going to have a job when I could walk again. Needless to say, it was a pretty rough time for me.
Spring isn’t the only change happening
As the clock struck midnight and 2013 began, I decided this year I would pick some long-term goals to work towards. 2012 had some pretty life changing moments that gave me some time to think about what is important to me and where I should be focusing.
