Road Trip 2014 Countdown
It’s almost road trip time again and to say that I’m starting to get excited would be an understatement! In four weeks I’ll be off on another adventure and it will be my largest one yet. The destination? The Maritimes! Over three weeks of visiting parks, hiking trails, and capturing as many moments as I can all over New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island.
While some of the details are still a little fuzzy, I know that I’ll soon be visiting a few unfamiliar Ontario Provincial Parks as part of my trip. Darlington, Frontenac, Voyageur and Algonquin Provincial Parks will all soon be crossed off my list. On top of learning about a few more Ontario Provincial Parks, I’m curious to see what the parks are like outside of Ontario.
I don’t think this is going to be an easy trip. I’ll log over 5000km on the road and maybe a few hundred on foot. I’ll be venturing into places I’ve never been and doing so on some of the most challenging terrain I’ve ever encountered. Nervous? A bit. Dying to get started? Absolutely!
